The Raven's Brigade was formed in 393 AV. The purpose of the Brigade is to serve as a scout and warning unit during times of crisis in Forfedhdar. Outside of these times, the Brigade will be abandoned.
While it does receive Council funding, it is a separate entity served to protect Forfedhdar and Kermoria, and is non-political in nature. Volunteers are welcome to come and go as they will, pending they inform their commanding officer.
The officers of the Brigade will serve on a rotating basis, but at least half will come from Forfedhdar.

allo, mah name is Ehon, I be a Citizen o Aesry, an well I been travellin about, I dun come down ta Shard once an a while, an I been hearin o their troubles. A bit after Shards troubles started I heard rumors o a necromancer on da level o dis Sihdlot or what e'er her damned name is. So I headed back down south, personally I thought someone st arted a story cause they know I like a bit of excitement, an they wanted me back down in Shard...but when I hit a tavern or two I saw some posters up askin fer help fer some Ravens Brigade. I figured what da hell, it aint like I got much ta lose right? Either there is some group or their aint, an if so, there aint no C.O. alive what could reign me in. An so here it is, I been down her ein Hib fer tha better part o a month, I aint seen mah wife in at least as long, an so help me, let me get into a fight, I am about ready ta kill somethin...e'en ifn it be dead already, I will make it wish it werent e'er reborn or what e'er tha hell they be callin it these days.
